In September 2010, I was on an AIESEC Internship in St.Petersburg, Russia. We used to go out during the weekends and have fun at night. But the first time that I got to the downtown there was a simple fact about St.Petersburg that I didn't know; the bridges were opening for the ships in the evening so they can enter the city. It was impossible to leave the downtown during the night. You had to wait or party till morning thanks to the rivers!
